Illegal State of Mind is my solo project: dub tracks built on heavy bass lines, echo and space, with the studio used as an instrument.
Dub is the center of gravity, not a boundary. A track may start with a rhythm, a bass line or a single echoing sound that refuses to leave the mix — and go wherever that sound leads.
On YouTube the music also lives as music videos, live performances and dub experiments — and as audio-reactive visuals and generative art I create for the tracks, collected in the Psychedelic Music Visuals playlist.
Alongside the music I build my own instruments, effects and small music tools. Schematics, firmware and documentation for those projects live on GitHub
